The Jefferson Area Motor Squad is proud to host the 10th annual Jefferson Area Motor Squad Skills Training Seminar May 30th-June 1st, 2024 to be held in the Sam's Club of Charlottesville parking lot. The Jefferson Area Motor Squad Skills Training Seminar is a way for motor officers to improve their riding skills, exchange new training ideas and improve or create inter-agency relationships. PRECISION COURSES
On October 30, 2023, Charlottesville Police Officer Trevis Wood was seriously injured in the line of duty. As a result of his injury, he suffered a stroke which has led to paralysis and extended recovery. The 2024 JAMS competition will benefit a recovery fund for Officer Trevis Wood and his family.
